Why Red Dog Photography?
We’re not dog photographers and we’re not red but we used to have a red dog and somehow the name worked and that’s what it’s been for the last ten+ years. Hopefully easy to remember and unique – at least it was until we did a bit of Google research and discovered a few other Red Dogs.
We’ve evolved over the years from simply taking pictures for businesses and organisations to training others in getting the best out of their camera and discovering the creativity that’s lurking inside each of us.
We’re also qualified as Adobe Certified Experts in Photoshop CC and run courses at beginner, intermediate and advanced level in this industry leading and staggeringly powerful application. We also teach Lightroom, Illustrator and Muse.
The third leg of the business is running Photography Breaks in the Peak District, the UK’s first National Park and home to some of the best locations for truly stunning landscape photography. We work with some of the best landscape photographers in the country, all of them award winning and published experts who know where to go, when to go and how to get there. Breaks are over one or two days. The two-day breaks are based at some of the finest hotels in the region and include all meals, accommodation and transport.
